Who this is for
WhizKids is a learning site for children, run by a parent. Accounts belong to grown-ups: to open one you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian, aged 18 or over, and that you are setting it up for children in your care. Children play through the profiles you create for them. They never sign up, and they never give us personal details.
What it costs
Nothing. There are no ads, no purchases and no paid tier. Nothing a child earns here can be bought.
Your part
- Choose nicknames that are not a child's real full name, and keep the grown-ups PIN to yourself.
- Share a Family Quiz Race code only with people you know.
- Use the site for your own family. Please do not copy the lessons or stories in bulk, or try to break or overload the service.
Our part
- We handle your family's information exactly as the privacy notice says, and nothing more.
- We try hard to make every lesson, story and question accurate and right for its age. Mistakes happen; tell us and we will fix them.
- You can delete a player or your whole account at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
What to expect
WhizKids is offered as it is, by one person, without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. It is a place to practise and to enjoy learning, not a replacement for school or for a teacher.
Other people's work
Some questions and pictures come from open collections under their own licences. They are listed, with their licences, on the credits page.

Contact
Use Send feedback at the bottom of any page once you are signed in (it opens from your account too). A person reads every note.
Trouble signing in
If you signed up with Apple or Google, use that button: there is no password to remember. If you signed up with a password and have forgotten it, there is no automatic reset, because WhizKids sends no email. If the email on the account is also a Google account, Continue with Google opens the same account, with your players and their progress; from then on it signs in with Google and the old password stops working. Otherwise your players and their progress are kept until you can get back in. Forgot only the grown-ups PIN? Sign out, sign in again, and you can choose a new one straight away.
