Written for WhizKids
- Lessons, their practice questions and the stories are written for WhizKids with the help of an AI writing assistant (Claude, by Anthropic), to the site's own content guidelines. Each story lists the sources it was checked against.
- Maths drills and word practice are produced by small programs in the WhizKids code, which also work out each explanation.
- Part of the quiz bank, mostly easier questions for younger children, was drafted by an AI model (Google Gemini) in August 2026. Those questions passed an automatic safety filter but were not each checked by a person.
No AI talks to children on WhizKids, and nothing a child does is sent to an AI service. Questions from every source pass a safety filter before a child ever sees them. If anything looks wrong, please tell us with Send feedback at the bottom of the page: a person reads every note.
